In todays’ Breeders Plate race from Renmark, 21/10/2012, 227 WPF birds were released at 7.30 am.  Conditions at the race point were sunny with some cloud cover  and a light Southwesterley wind.  Upon release birds cleared in one group within a minute.  For the trip home, birds are expected to encounter Southwesterley winds 15-25 km/p/h tending West/southwesterley 25-40 km/p/h in the early afternoon.  Maximum temperatures expected in Victoria today are between 14-19 degrees.  Best wishes to all.
