It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our much-loved colleague and friend, Robert “Robbie” Saggers, who left us peacefully at home on 23 November 2025, surrounded by his immediate family.

Robbie’s lifelong dedication to pigeon racing and his extraordinary achievements within the Western Pigeon Federation will be fondly remembered. A proud Hall of Fame inductee, he was a true pillar of our community, his wisdom, generosity and passion for the sport enriched countless members’ lives and elevated the Federation’s spirit.

On behalf of all our members and the Board of the Western Pigeon Federation, we extend our deepest condolences to Robbie’s family, friends and fellow fanciers. We share in your grief and honour the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Robbie, you will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
