In todays race from Yolla.
Participants:
55 WPF flyers with 763 birds, 6 GCHC flyers with 42 birds, 35 VPRU flyers with 348 birds & 70 Horsham birds. Total of 96 flyer and 1223 birds.
Liberation: Birds were released at 9.00am into clear skies with a light southerly wind.
The birds left the units in one groups and were out of sight within 2 minute heading for home.
Winds across Bass Strait will predominately be southerly of between 15-25km with SW and SE swings, switch SE closer to home and inland.
Reminder.
Production of clocks at 8.00pm don’t be late. Yes it is two [2] bird clocking but you can not wait for your second [2nd] bird to produce on the night. If you have one [1] bird you must produce by 8.00pm.
Trailer Unloading Club is Altona City & Green Gully Trailer Unloading Roster.
Benzing Live Users. Temporary Evaluation or Full Evaluation to be done no later than 1 hour before production of clocks.
Two [2] members from each club must remain behind until the truck is loaded to help.

Due to a shipping mechanical fault Strait Link has reduced shipping capacity. As a result, they have had to reallocate and priorities their shipping loads. They have offered to take our birds Friday for a race Sunday. Due to the forecasted adverse weather patterns across Bass Strait on Sunday the liberation committee have agreed to postpone the race to a future date in approx. 2 – 4 weeks’ time. Apologies for the late notice and inconvenience.
