Race. YOLLA
Participants. 62 WPF flyers with 803 birds & 8 GCHC flyers with 37 birds a total of 70 flyers and 840 birds.
Liberation. Birds were released at 8.00am into slightly overcast conditions. On release the birds formed two groups heading for home within 2 minutes forming one group as they headed out of site within 3 minutes towards the coast.
Winds. The birds were released into a southeasterly wind of approx. 10 km/hr.
Temperature. Approx. 4 deg at liberation.
