Special General Meeting clarification.

The Special General Meeting to be held on Friday 12 January 2024 is to provide members with information about the current state of play regarding our transportation for 2024.  It is to share thoughts and ideas and solicit feedback from the members based on their experiences so that the Board of Management can work towards making an informed decision for the 2024 season.  Whilst we do not expect any motions to be raised or voting to take place as it is an information, fact gathering and consultation meeting, in the event this occurs you do need to be a financial member.

Dear Members.

The Board of Management is calling a Special General Meeting in accordance with Rule 12, Clauses (1) & (2) [WPF Constitution] to resolve the following items prior to the AGM to give all members the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding their choices for racing in the 2024 season.

Meeting.

Time:               7.30pm.

Date:               Friday, 12 January 2024.

Location:         27B Carrington Drive ALBION VIC 3020.

Agenda.

1. Transport.

As the Western Pigeon Federation of Victoria Inc.’s financial year ends on the 31 December 2023 the following will apply.

Any voting will be in accordance with Constitutional Rule 14, Clauses (1), (2) & (3) [WPF Constitution].

1. A Financial Member is a member who has submitted their membership form with payment either via the online membership form [Membership form 2023] to the WPF Treasurer or a paper version to their club, which has been validated by the WPF treasurer anytime between the 1 January 2024 and the date of the General Meeting 15 January 2024.

For the purposes of the AGM.

A Financial Member is a member who has submitted their membership form with payment either via the online membership form [Membership form 2023] to the WPF Treasurer or a paper version to their club, which has been validated by the WPF treasurer anytime between the 1 January 2024 and the first Saturday in February being the 4 February 2024.
