Winner of the Overall Averages for the Western Pigeon Federation eight times: 1988, 1993, 1994, 1997, 2001, 2005, 2006, and 2010.

Exceptional performances in long-distance races, securing high Federation placements in 400; 500 & 600 miles marathons. Dominated multiple classic races, achieving five federations wins in 2005 including a young birds win and four old bird federation wins in 2006 and 2010.

It is my absolute privilege to stand before you and announce the induction of the one and only Robbie Saggers into the inaugural Hall of Fame of the Western Pigeon Federation.

Over a career spanning more than five decades, Robbie has soared to incredible heights as a competitor, a mentor, a leader, and a passionate advocate for the longevity and growth of pigeon racing. From his humble beginnings racing pigeons alongside his father in the 1960s, Robbie’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

With **over 40 Federation wins**, including multiple overall average titles, Robbie has established himself as one of the greatest competitors our federation has ever seen. His dominance in long-distance racing, his knack for innovation in training and care methods, and his unparalleled determination have cemented his place in Victorian pigeon racing history. Robbie’s achievements on the racetrack are legendary—but as impressive as they are, they represent only one aspect of his incredible contribution.
