Dear Flyers.
Due to the low number of nominated birds for the WPF Open Nomination Race.
The Board of Management has agreed to not proceed with the race.
We have tried to keep the race entry nomination date open for as long as possible, but the numbers were simply not viable.
We apologies for the late notice and any inconvenience.
All flyers who have paid their money will have it refunded.

Out side Organisation to select – Non-Club Member
Race: 11/09/2022 WPF Open Race (Coombah).
(in lieu of the 2022 WPF Breeders Plate).
When? Sunday, 11th September 2022
Where? Coombah, 560-600km (350ml)
Basketing. Friday, 9th September 2022 (between 5.30 – 8.30pm).
Basketing Location. WPF rooms (19 Carrington Drive ALBION VIC 3020).
How to enter?
1 Decide how many birds you would like to send to the race (no limit, all ages).
2 Entry fee. $50.00 per nominated entry. (E.g., 4 entries = 4 x $50 =$200.00)
3 Complete your online form with your name, address, and mobile phone number along with the number of nominations you would like to enter.
4 Pay for your nominations by Friday 26th August 2022.
(Invoice & EFT bank details will be provided on receipt of your nominations).
5 Basketing night.
a. Select the birds you want to send from your loft on the night.
b. Turn up to the WPF rooms and have your birds basketed and clock set.
c. Clock your birds on the day of the race (open clocking).
d. Produce your clock according to WPF Rules. 🤞🤞🤞 win some money.

First (1st) prize = subject to nomination entries.
Paying a minimum of 10 places.
Every nominated entry will receive free entry into a draw (drawn on basketing night).
First (1st) prize = 4 x Breeders Plate Rings for the 2023 season (values $200).
Second (2nd) prize = 2 x Breeders Plate rings for the 2023 season (value $100).
Third (3rd) prize = 1 x Breeders Plate ring for the 2023 season (value $50).
Conditions:
1. The race will be conducted under the WPF Rules and Regulations.
2. Open to members flying with the WPF, VRPU, VHA, GMPF, VPO & Geelong organisations.
3. No refunds or credits.
4. Liberation to be determined by the WPF liberation committee.
5. Electronic clocks currently recognised by the WPF are Vision, Benzing, Taurus and STB or equivalent.
6. The first three positioned birds will be homed tested by the WPF BOM the day after the race or when practical. Drug testing optional by Committee. Flyer/bird ring registration will be verified with your Organisation.
