Conditions at the race point were sunny with clear blue skies with a light NE wind of around 5km//hr.
The winds are expected to increase during the trip home tending more northly as the bird rise above 600metres on their approach Melbourne.

In today’s race from Mittyack, approx. 2843 WPF birds competing from 83 lofts, along with around 562 Geelong birds, for a total of 3400 birds were released at 9.30am.
The birds broke into three group with all groups clearing within 3-4 minutes for the trip home.
Production of clocks is within two hours of clocking. Benzing Live users must evaluate within 1 hour of clocking.
