Melton Racing Pigeon Club – Melton Classic Race 2026 [Race point to be confirmed].
The Melton Racing Pigeon Club is thrilled to invite all fliers within the WPF, VPO, Ballarat, Colac, and East Boundary VRPU to participate in the Melton Classic Pigeon Race in 2026!
All prize money will be split 50% Breeder / 50% Racer. While anyone can purchase birds, the birds must be flown by a flyer from one of the forementioned organizations.
Rings $20 each, buy 5 get a bonus 6th ring free; buy 10 rings and get 1 bonus and 1 nomination to be presented on basketing night to nominate any 2025 bred pigeon.

Important Sale Information
- Birds presented for sale must be in good health, fully feathered under the wing, and should not have dropped a flight feather.
- All disputes will be handled by the Melton Classic Committee.
Race Details
- Basketing Date: Friday, 28th August 2026
Venue: To be confirmed. - Race Date: Sunday, 30th August 2026 (weather pending)
Birds will be liberated independently, and the race will be conducted under WPF rules.
