TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU MUST BUY A BIRD OR RING AT AUCTION FROM ANY SALE.
40% BREEDER – 60% BUYER.
$250.00 = 1st PRIZE $150.00 = 2nd PRIZE & $100.00 = 3rd PRIZE
Open to all flying members within the WPF, VHA, GMPF, VRPU, VPO & Geelong Federations.
Anyone can enter or buy birds BUT they must be flown by a flyer within the above organisation.
The loft that the bird is flown from must be nominated on the day of the sales or within 14 days of the sale or permission from the WPF Board of Management.
Auction start at $40.00 per bird.
Birds purchased at these sales are expected to be raced NOT stocked.
There are 4 sales by Auction on the Following dates.
Sunday 19/11/2023, Friday 8/12/2023, Sunday 07/01/2024 & Friday 16/02/2024
Sunday penning starts from 9.30am. Auction starts around 12pm.
Friday penning starts from 6.00pm. Auction starts around 7.30pm.
The sales will be at the WPF ROOMS 27B Carrington Drive, ALBION VIC 3020.
Each person can put a maximum of 10 birds per sale. If your bird is not sold at the sale, you must nominate a person to return it to you.
Basketing for the race will be at the WPF rooms on FRIDAY NIGHT 13/09/2024.
The race will be on Sunday 15/09/2024.
The birds will be liberated by themselves. The race will be conducted under the WPF rules.
RINGS CAN BE PURCHASED FOR $50.00 EACH NO LIMIT via the WPF website.
