The Australian National Racing Pigeon Board hereby invites all city and country racing pigeon trainers in Victoria to participate in a Grand National Race from Cobar NSW.
Race Date: 8th October 2022 Bird limit: 10 birds Entry Fee: $10 per bird
For Melbourne Members the Grand National entries must be part of their team nominated for the Victorian Cobar National event. To enter the ANRPB Grand National and compete against South Australia and New South Wales simply pay an additional $10 per bird and nominate your entries for the Grand National.
All Victorian Country flyers are also invited to send a small team up to a maximum of10 birds.
All Victorian entry fees (minus convoying fees for Vic Country birds) shall be awarded as prizemoney for the Victorian section of the Grand National.
The ANRPB will award a special prize for the overall Grand National winner including a feature page and photos on the ANRPB website.

Melbourne 700 kms Ballarat 700 kms Bendigo 590 kms Geelong 760 kms
Horsham 680 kms Warrnambool 815 kms
Victorian Country birds will have a separate convoy and liberation from Melbourne birds.
Details of Country Convoy to be advised. Liberations to be managed to avoid interstate cross-flighting.
The ANRPB is promoting the Cobar Grand National with the endeavour of creating cooperation and unity amongst racing pigeon trainers Australia wide; as well as promoting the Sport of Racing Pigeons in Australia. To that end the ANRPB is hopeful of gaining media coverage Australia wide for this special event featuring our “Thoroughbreds of the Skies.”
