In todays race from Bourke.
41 WPF flyers with 789 birds, 37 VRPU flyers with 487 birds, 10 GCHC flyers with 100 birds, 28 GMPF flyers with 403 birds totalling 116 flyers and 1779 birds.
Birds up at 6.45am left in one big group within four minutes heading south straight for home. On release it was clear blue skies, and the winds were a 10Km southerly.
Due to two bird clocking production will be 7.00pm on Tuesday 24/10/2023.

Due to the forecasted temperatures through Thursday, Friday and Saturday consistently rising above 30oC throughout the day, the WPF in conjunction with the VRPU & GMPF have agreed to change the race date.
Basketing will be Saturday 21 October 2023 for a race Monday 23rd October 2023.
All WPF members must basket at the WPF rooms and be at the rooms no later than 6.30pm [doors will be closed].
We need to ensure we give the transporting company every opportunity to get to the race point in a safe and timely manner.
