Liberation. Birds were release at 7.30am. On released the birds formed 7 smaller groups as they came out of the units, regrouping into 4 larger groups and were out of sight in around 4 minutes. A small group of approx. 60 came back, clearing after 10 minutes.
Winds. 10km east with clear skies.
Temperature. 15 deg. Feels like 12 deg.
Forecast along the way.
- East winds of b/w 5 – 25 km/hr, varying southeast/south as the birds come closer to home.
- 100m – 900m b/w 5 – 25km/km southeast/south as the birds come closer to home.
- At around 1500M there is a N/NW early air stream from the race point all the way to Berri. Anything lucky enough to find this may move a little quicker.
- Temperature could reach up to 28 deg on route, cooling as they come closer to home.

- Benzing Live Users. Evaluation to be done within 1 hour of clocking your second [2nd] bird, temporary evaluation is acceptable if only one bird on the day.
