Liberation. Birds were released at 8.30am. On release two groups form, one large one with the bulk of the birds and a smaller group, both clearing within two minutes.
Winds. Winds at the race point were approx. 10km NW. Birds are expected to encounter westerly winds of b/w 20 – 50 km up to 750m. It will be a quick one.
Temperature. 11 deg on release.
