Race. Margaret Tung Memorial from Rupanyup.
Participants. 73 WPF flyers with 2574 birds & 13 GCHC flyers with 254 birds a total of 86 flyers and 2828 birds were released at 11.00am.
Liberation. WPF & GHPC birds liberated at 11am. The birds formed one group and cleared within two minutes.
Winds. On release the winds were, light southerly between 1 – 5km/hr from ground level up to 600m. Closer to home predominately NW winds of b/w 10-15km/hr from ground level up to 600m. Clearing clouds.
Temperature. 7 deg at the race point on liberation.
