The Western Pigeon Federation (WPF) is proud to announce that at our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 28 February 2025, members will have the opportunity to vote on granting Life Membership to Mr. Tony Abraham in recognition of his outstanding service, leadership, and dedication to the federation.

Tony has been an integral part of the WPF since 1993, dedicating over three decades to the federation’s success. His passion, commitment, and leadership have left a lasting impact, making him a truly deserving nominee for Life Membership.

Tony has gone above and beyond official roles, taking on essential tasks to ensure the smooth running of the WPF:
✔ Race Coordination & Fair Competition – As Minute Secretary & Liberation Committee Member, he played a vital role in ensuring fair and efficient race operations.
✔ Financial Stability & Transparency – As Treasurer & Public Officer, Tony managed the WPF’s finances with integrity and diligence, strengthening the federation’s financial position.
✔ Mentorship & Community Support – Tony has been a strong advocate for the federation, guiding members, offering mentorship, and working tirelessly to uphold the values of our sport.

Why Tony Deserves Life Membership

Tony’s Life Membership nomination was officially proposed by the Altona City Club (10 July 2023) and seconded by the Werribee Club (12 July 2023). His exceptional service and contributions exceed the eligibility criteria outlined in the WPF constitution, making him a truly worthy recipient of this honour.
