WPF Breeders Plate Sale #1 Friday 22 November 2024

First Prize $20,000

Open to all WPF, VHA, GMPF, VRPU, VPO & Geelong flyers.

An invitation is given to all breeders of racing pigeons around Australia to test your birds in a strong federation with a chance to WIN BIG!

It is the aim of the WPF Breeders Plate committee to increase the prize pool as ring and bird sales occur.

A running tally will be posted online at the WPF website and updated regularly, 2025 WPF Breeders Plate.

Racers, to be eligible you must buy a bird/s OR ring/s at any of the auctions.

Note. Rings will be $50 each and for every 10 rings purchased you get one (1) FREE.

All prize monies are split 40%, Breeder and 60% Racer.

Anyone can buy birds BUT they must be flown by a flyer within the above organisation.

The loft that the bird is flown from must be nominated on the day of purchase. (Any special requests must be presented in writing and granted permission from the WPF Board of Management).

All auctions start at $30.00 per bird. Birds purchased at these sales are expected to be raced, NOT stocked.

There are 3 planned sales by auction on the following dates.

Friday 22/11/2024, Sunday 8/12/2024, and Sunday 19/01/2025

Sale birds must be received in good health, be covered under the wing and not have dropped a flight feather, all disputes will be decided by the board.

A limit of 10 birds per breeder per sale & if your bird is not sold, you must nominate a person to return it to you.

The scheduled sales will be held at the WPF ROOMS, 27B Carrington Drive, ALBION VIC 3020.

Basketing for the Race will be at the WPF rooms on Friday 12/09/2025, and the race will be on Sunday 14/09/25 weather permitting. The birds will be liberated by themselves, and the race will be conducted under the WPF rules.

RINGS are also available for purchase via the WPF website, there is no limit so just visit; 2025 WPF Breeders Plate rings orders online.
