Minimum 1st PRIZE $20,000.
Providing prizes UP TO TWENTY (20) PLACES (subject to money raised).
PRIZES FOR BIRDS CLOCKED FROM EACH FUNDRAISER.
$250.00 = 1st PRIZE $150.00 = 2nd PRIZE & $100.00 = 3rd PRIZE
TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU MUST BUY A BIRD OR RING AT THE FUNDRAISER.
40% BREEDER – 60% BUYER.
Open to all flying members within the WPF, VHA, GMPF, VRPU, VPO & Geelong Federations.
Anyone can enter or buy birds, but they must be flown by a flyer within the above organisation.
The loft that the bird is flown from must be nominated on the fundraiser day or within 14 days of the sale or permission from the WPF Board of Management.
Fundraiser bids start at $30.00 per bird.
Birds purchased at these fundraisers are expected to be raced.
There are four (4) fundraisers by auction on the following dates.
SUN 23.11.2025, FRI 05.12.2025, SUN 11.01.2026 & SUN 15.02.2026
Sunday penning starts from 10.00am. Auction starts b/w 12.30 – 1.00pm after FREE BBQ.
Friday penning starts from 6.00pm. Auction starts around 7.30pm after FREE BBQ.
The sales will be at the WPF ROOMS 27B Carrington Drive, ALBION VIC 3020.
Each person can put a maximum of 10 birds per sale. If your bird is not sold at the sale, you must nominate a person to return it to you.
Basketing FRIDAY NIGHT 11th September 2026.
The birds will be liberated by themselves. The race will be conducted under the WPF rules.
RINGS CAN BE PURCHASED FOR $50.00 EACH NO LIMIT via the WPF website.
