Melton Classic Race 2026
The Melton Racing Pigeon Club is thrilled to invite all fliers within the WPF, VPO, Ballarat, Colac, and East Boundary VPU to participate in the Melton Classic Pigeon Race from Mildura, taking place in 2026.
Eligibility: To be eligible, you must purchase rings or birds at any of the upcoming auctions:
- Rings are priced at $20 each.
- For every 5 rings ($100) purchased, you will receive 1 free ring.
- For every 5 rings ($100) purchased, you will receive 1 free ring.
- For every 10 rings ($200) purchased, you will recieve 1 free ring and 1 nomination.
All prize money will be split 50% Breeder / 50% Racer. While anyone can purchase birds, the birds must be flown by a flyer from one of the forementioned organizations.

Venue: Melton Racing Pigeon Club Rooms - Race Date: Sunday, 30st August 2026 (weather pending)
Birds will be liberated independently, and the race will be conducted under WPF rules.
