2nd Hillston

In todays’ race from Hillston 31/08/2013, 1571 WPF birds competing from 59 lofts along with 356 Geelong birds and app. 1300 GMPF birds were released at  8.15 am.  Conditions at the race point were overcast with little to no wind.  Once released the birds left the race point within two minutes in one group.

Conditions for the trip home: light cloud is expected with North Easterly winds of 15-25 km p/h.  Top temperature expected in Victoria today is 22 degrees.

Remember, production of clocks is one and a half hours after clocking.

Hillston

In todays’ race from Hillston 25/08/2013, 1676  WPF birds from competing 64 lofts along with 323 Geelong birds were released at  8am.  Conditions at the race point were clear and sunny with little to no wind.  Once released the birds left the race point within two minutes in one group.

Conditions for the trip home: light cloud is expected with light West to North Westerly winds.  Top temperature expected in Victoria today is 17 degrees.

PLEASE NOTE:  AS MANY FLIERS HAVE TWO RACES ON TODAY PRODUCTION OF CLOCKS THIS WEEK WILL BE AT 7 PM.

Hillston

In todays’ race from Hillston 24/08/2013,  the birds have been held over due to inclement weather at the race point .  Liberation will now be Sunday 25/08/2013 dependant upon favorable weather conditions.

C. & J. Morris 10 Bird Special

17/08/2013.  App. 436 WPF birds from todays’ C & J Morris 10 bird Special along with 45 Birds from Geelongs’ 3 Bird Special, were released at 9.45am.  Conditions at the race point were clear and sunny with light Westerly winds.  Once released, the birds cleared the race point in one group within two minutes.

Conditions for the trip home are expected to be West to North Westerly winds of between 20-30 km p/h.  Top  temperature expected in Victoria today is 14 degrees.

Remember as there are two races today, production of clocks is one and a half hours after clocking from the second race.  If only racing one race, you must produce as usual, one and a half hours after clocking.

3rd Hay

In todays’ race from Hay 17/08/2013,  app. 1420 WPF birds competing from 61 lofts and 361 Geelong birds were released at 9am.  Conditions at the race point were clear and sunny with light Westerly winds. Upon release the birds cleared the race point within two minutes in one group.

For the trip home the birds are expected to encounter West to North Westerly winds of between 20 to 30 km p/h.  Top temperature expected in Melbourne today is 14 degrees.

Remember as there are two races today, production of clocks is one and a half hours after clocking from the second race, or if only racing one race, as usual, it is one and a half hours after clocking.

2nd Hay

In todays’ race from Hay, 10/08/2013, 1765 WPF birds competing from 62 lofts and 544 Geelong birds were released at 8.30 am.  Conditions at the race point were clear and sunny with light South to South Westerly winds.  In two minutes, the birds had cleared the race point, leaving in one group.                            .

For the trip home winds are expected to continue light South Westerly, changing and increasing to Westerly winds of between 15-20 km p/h.  Top temperature expected in Melbourne today is 16 degrees.

Remember production of clocks is one and a half hours after clocking.

1st Hay

In todays’ race from Hay, 3/8/2013, 1410 WPF birds competing from 55 lofts and 519 Geelong birds were released at 9.15 am.  Conditions at the race point were clear and sunny with a light North Westerly wind.  The birds left the race point within two minutes in one group.

For the trip home the birds are expected to encounter West to North Westerly winds of between 25-35 km p/h with rain expected later in the day.  Top temperature expected in Victoria today is 12 degrees.

Remember production of clocks is one and a half hours after clocking.
